CubiTan® project selected for the” Project for Promotion of Development of Technology to Solve Hydrogen Implementation Issues in Tokyo”.

Atomis Inc. (Head office: Kobe City, Hyogo; Representative Director and CEO: Daisuke Asari) ,Yachiyo Engineering Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Taito-ku, Tokyo, President: Tsutomu Takahashi) and TERBAIK Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Taito-ku, Tokyo, President: Kenjiro Yamanaka) are pleased to announce the adoption of Smart Gas Network using CubiTan® for the “Project for Promotion of Development of Technology to Solve Hydrogen Implementation Issues in Tokyo” .

Atomis, Yachiyo Engineering, and TERBAIK plan to conduct demonstration tests for “CubiTan®” and its introduction.
In addition, by utilizing the knowledge and results obtained through these efforts related to gas transportation and storage, we will contribute to the promotion of hydrogen utilization in Tokyo.

<About the “Project for Promotion of Development of Technology to Solve Hydrogen Implementation Issues in Tokyo”>

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is working to expand the use of hydrogen under its “Tokyo Hydrogen Vision,” which aims to achieve a “carbon half” (*1) by 2030 and a decarbonized society by 2050, among other goals.
The “Project for Promotion of Development of Technology to Solve Hydrogen Implementation Issues in Tokyo” is a part of this project initiated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to support R&D and demonstration of hydrogen transportation and storage technology.
Companies and research institutions in Tokyo will participate in the project, aiming for joint development, etc., with support from the government.

(*1) Reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Tokyo by 50% from 2000 levels by 2030
