Exhibiting at “COP29 Japan Pavilion Virtual Showcase”
Atomis will be exhibiting at “COP29 Japan Pavilion Virtual Showcase”.
The COP29 Japan Pavilion will be hosted by the Ministry of the Environment in conjunction with the 29th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan from November 11-22, 2024. This exhibition event booth is designed to promote the realization of Japan’s long-term climate change action goal of “Net Zero by 2050” and to disseminate technologies, products, and services that support the decarbonization and climate change adaptation of the world.
Atomis and Yachiyo Engineering Co.,Ltd.(Head office: Taito-ku, Tokyo; President: Tsutomu Takahashi) will present a virtual exhibit of its efforts to realize the Smart Gas Network concept using the next-generation high-pressure gas container, CubiTan®.
The virtual exhibition will be held online and accessible from terminals to be installed in the local pavilion.

<About CubiTan®>
CubiTan® is a next-generation high-pressure gas container characterized by its compactness, light weight, and smart (IoT) features.
CubiTan®,which was developed to solve the isuues of transportation and cost in high-pressure gas distribution, is compact and lightweight by using reinforced plastic for the container. The cube-shaped design enables stacking and contributes to improve transportation efficiency.
While conventional high-pressure gas cylinders need to be filled with gas at higher pressure to make them compact, CubiTan® successfully stores gas without increasing pressure by incorporating PCP/MOF as a gas adsorbent.
By incorporating an IoT system in addition to these features, CubiTan® aims to realize a smart distribution network, including inventory management, handling of orders received and placed, delivery status monitoring, and delivery route optimization.
<About “Smart Gas Network”>
Smart gas network is a system in which gas is distributed without pipelines and its usage is remotely monitored and managed through IoT devices.
CubiTan® will help optimize delivery, save resources, and improve user convenience by identifying remaining capacity.
