Atomis scientific advisor Prof. Susumu Kitagawa awarded 2017 Solvay Prize
Congratulations to Prof.Susumu Kitagawa for being awarded the Solvay Prize for his work in developing MOFs. Atomis Inc, originated from Prof.Kitagawa laboratory.
He is a pioneer in the field of porous coordination polymers/metal organic frameworks which is a innovative material, and it was appreciateed that this material has great potential for sustainable global environment.
“Chemistry for the Future Solvay Prize” is a prize established by Solvay, a leading chemical company in Belgium, in 2013. It will be awarded to an important discovery contributing to the advancement of humanity one every two years. It will be selected by six indendent review commitees including Novel Prize winners.
